Anh, Registered Dental Hygienist

Anh has been working with Dr. Stone for five years. Anh was born in South Vietnam where she lived for several years before migrating to the United States with her family in 1981. She has been living in Northern Virginia area since, where she currently resides in Lorton, VA. Anh graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and then went on to get her B.S. degree in biology from Catholic University. After working at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research for a few years she decided she wanted to take a different route and started working in the dental field as a surgical assistant in a periodontal office. She enjoyed periodontal aspect of dentistry so much that she decided to go back to school to study dental hygiene. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia with a B.S. in Dental hygiene, she started working for Dr. Stone’s office. She has really loved the experience she has gained and personal relationships she has developed with patients.

In her spare time, Anh loves to travel, eat, shop and do anything related to home improvement and décor. She would like to someday go back to Vietnam with her family to visit, as well as other places such as Thailand, China, and Japan. Anh loves spending time with her two nieces and a nephew who are quite mischievous but a joy to be around!



Crystal, Practice Manager and Treatment Coordinator

Crystal has worked for Dr. Stone since 1986, and is in charge of scheduling, human resources, finances, advertising and community service events. From the moment she was hired, Crystal has made tremendous improvements in the practice. Upon arrival, Crystal was tasked with overseeing a full makeover of the office while transitioning the practice to a completely digital and paperless environment.

In addition to growing the practice, Crystal prides herself on finding ways to help those who can’t afford proper dental care. She works with patients to ensure they receive the care they need and promotes fundraisers that support the local Northern Virginia Dental Society.

“Being an employee of the practice has provided me the opportunity to network with people, share my experiences, questions, issues and future hopes with” she explains. “Dentistry is such a challenging field. I face new obstacles every day, which is why I love my career”.

Outside the practice, Crystal has been a very busy mother of three. She enjoys reading, yoga, golf and long walks. She and Dr. Stone have been married for over 25 years.



Hanna, Registered Dental Hygienist

Hanna has been working with Dr. Stone for over six years. Hanna graduated in the spring of 2005 from Allegany College of Maryland with her license in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing with Dr. Stone since her graduation. She is currently a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and also the Northern Virginia Dental Hygiene Association. Due to the ever-changing field of dentistry, Hanna enjoys taking continuing education courses to keep things new and fresh. She completed the Comprehensive Hygiene program at the Las Vegas Institute in 2007 and obtained her license for administration of Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide 2008. She continues to stay excited about the field and strives to provide patients with the most comprehensive treatment as possible and help them attain optimal oral health.

Hanna enjoys all sorts of activities to keep a healthy lifestyle. She and her husband have been married for six years and enjoy riding bikes, hiking, and any activities in the sun. She enjoys playing tennis with her mom or running trails with her dad. She is the proud aunt to one nephew and three nieces and enjoys any time she can get with them. This summer she will begin training for her eighth marathon and does most of her training with Bailey, the family pet.
